What is recorded here

Situated towards the bottom of a S-facing slope. Overgrown circular area (diam. 35m N-S) defined by an earthen bank (at N: Wth 2.5m; max. int. and ext. H 1m), which is incorporated into a stone-faced field bank NE-S. There is no visible fosse or entrance, but spoil has accumulated outside the bank at S. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Waterford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1999).
