What is recorded here

Located on a slight SW-facing slope. Subcircular grass-covered area (dims. 48m E-W; 41m N-S) defined by an overgrown earthen bank (Wth 4-5m generally but 7m at NE; int. H 0.75-1.2m generally to 3m at NE; ext. H 1.75m). A modern gap (Wth 13m) at ESE may incorporate the original entrance, but there is no visible fosse. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Waterford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1999).
