On a low, narrow E-W ridge. Visible on an aerial photograph (DoD, 1999). A sub circular area (diams. 9.4m E-W; 8.5m N-S) is defined by a very faint fosse (Wth 1.5m; D 0.2m) SW-NW, and elsewhere by a low scarp (H 0.2-0.4M).

Ditch barrow, likely dating to the Early Bronze Age. Its earthwork features and subcircular form are characteristic of funerary monuments of this period in Ireland.
