What is recorded here

Situated on a gentle S-facing slope at the foothills of Croughaun Hill. Overgrown circular area (diam. 25m NE-SW) defined by a slight earthen bank (at SW: Wth 3.2m; int. H 0.5m; ext. H 0.6-0.8m), with traces of a fosse at NE. There is no visible entrance. Spoil has been added to the bank externally W-N-S. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Waterford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1999).
