Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Crowinstown Great is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Crowinstown Great, County Westmeath, Ireland. It sits on a gentle but prominent natural rise with good views, surrounded by gently undulating grassland and overlooked by slightly higher ground to the south-southwest. A sub-circular area, measuring approximately 18 metres north-south and 20 metres east-west, is enclosed by a poorly preserved earthen bank and a wide slight external fosse. A 2.6-metre-wide entrance gap is located at the southeast, while a large rectangular depression occupies most of the interior and is probably the remains of a house site.

Situated on top of a gentle but prominent natural rise with good views, surrounded by gently undulating grassland, overlooked by slightly higher ground to the SSW. The stream which marks the townland boundary with Crowinstown is 80m to N. A sub-circular shaped area (approx. diam. 18m N-S; 20m E-W) enclosed by a poorly preserved earthen bank and wide slight external fosse. There is an entrance gap (Wth 2.6m) at SE. A large rectangular depression occupies most of the interior, and is probably the remains of a house site (WM009-040001-). The site has now been levelled and is visible only as a faint crop mark on Digital Globe aerial photograph taken November 2011.
