What is recorded here

Indicated is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Cloonakilly More, County Roscommon, Ireland. The circular grass-covered area sits on a south-facing slope and measures 51.3 metres north-south by 47 metres east-west. An earthen bank and hedge define the perimeter, with entrances at the south-southeast and west-northwest. A field bank and hedge overlay the eastern edge towards the perimeter.
On a S-facing slope. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 51.3m N-S; 47m E-W) sloping down to the S (H 1m) defined by an earthen bank and hedge (Wth 2.5m at E to 4.5m at W; int. H 0.3m E-S to 0.7m W-N; ext. H 0.9m at E to 1.4m at S). There is no visible fosse, and there are entrances at SSE (Wth 3.5m) and WNW (Wth 3m).
