What is recorded here
Identified by J. O'Donovan in the 1830s (O'Flanagan 1931, vol. 2, 19), it is situated on the S-facing slope of a drumlin, and is known locally as a church site. An arc (C 20m) of an earthen bank (Wth 3.5m; int. H 0.4m; ext. H 0.3m) survives N-E, but it is truncated by a NW-SE field bank at SW, with a quarry on the SW side. There is a wall footing (L 4.4m N-S) is inside the bank at E.
