Pitfield in Clare is a pitfield in Clare, County Roscommon, Ireland. It occupies a north-west-facing slope near a rath and annexe, extending across eight acres. The field contains pits measuring seven by three metres and half a metre deep, spaced thirty metres apart in east-west lines twenty metres apart.

On a NW-facing slope, just NW of rath (RO028-167001-) and its annexe (RO028-167002-) but not within either enclosure. An area of about 8 acres (c. 3.5 ha) contains pits (dims c. 7m x 3m; D 0.5m) placed c. 30m apart in lines c. 20m apart aligned generally E-W.
