
What is recorded here
At the N-facing crest of a broad, low hill. Subcircular grass-covered area (dims 40.3m E-W; 35.9m N-S) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 5m; int. H 0.2m; 1.4m) W-NNW, which is removed elsewhere, and a rounded fosse (Wth of top 5.3m at S to 9m at W; Wth of base 2.5-3.3m; D 0.7-1.4m). There is an outer bank (ext. H 0.3m) W-NNW, which is incorporated into a field bank ENE-S-W, and there is a causeway (Wth 3.5m) at SE. Rath (RO028-160001-) is c. 190m to the SSE.
