Indicated is a burial ground on the lower slopes of Crockaughrim Mountain in County Donegal, where stone-lined graves and human bones emerged from rough, boggy soil. Local tradition holds the site was once a monastery, suggesting clerics or devotees may have lived and died beneath the wet grass. The bones did not arrive in a display case; they waited in darkness, patient as water, until someone dug deep enough to remember them.
