Cahernarry graveyard holds a flat slate slab where a Latin cross with expanded terminals still marks the western face. The church ruins loom to the north, suggesting the stone served as a boundary or memorial before the building collapsed. People may have placed markers there for decades, trusting the cross to identify the dead when names and records vanished.

Located on NW facing slope in centre of Cahernarry graveyard (LI013-062002----) with ruins of Cahernarry Church (LI013-062001-) to N. Recorded in 2004 and described as following; ‘Upright rectangular-shaped slate slab (H 0.58m x Wth 0.3m x T. 50mm) with incised Latin cross and expanded terminals carved onto W face’ (SMR File).
