What is recorded here
The Co. Kerry Field Club (1940, 116) recorded a 'grave site' in the SE of the townland. It was thought that this may have been the original find spot of an ogham stone (KE045-035----) but other accounts contradict this.
The above description is derived from J. Cuppage, ‘Corca Dhuibhne. Dingle Peninsula archaeological survey. Ballyferriter. Oidhreacht Chorca Dhuibhne’ (1986), no. 210. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
