Knockakeo holds a sandstone block with a worn central depression, marking it as a Bullaun stone beside a holy well in County Cork. People may have knelt there for centuries, pressing bodies against the rough stone until repetition carved the hollow. The well water and the marked rock still invite that same quiet discipline, turning prayer into shape.
