Standing stone in Bohergar

Bohergar in County Limerick held a small irregular standing stone about eighteen inches long and ten inches wide. It rose eight inches from flat pasture where views reached north, east and west, perhaps marking a boundary, a memory or a moment when people gathered beneath open sky. The stone has vanished from that place, leaving behind an empty rectangle of grass and the suspicion that human hands once shaped the landscape before forgetting erased the shape.
