What is recorded here
Situated on a slight knoll just above the flood-plain of the NE-SW River Slaney which is c. 150m to the SE. The cropmark of a circular enclosure (diam. c. 50m) defined by a single fosse feature with a small annexe (diam. c. 20m) attached to the S is visible on aerial photographs (MM (13) 27–30). It is also visible on Google Earth (14/07/2018).
