In rough pasture, enclosed by approximately 8 year old forestry to the W and N. Identified on an aerial photograph (OS 2397/6 and 2348). A large oval area (dims. 21.5m N-S; 23m E-W), raised (H 0.95-1.05m) above the surrounding ground level and defined by a substantial bank (Wth 7.35m; int. H 0.3m; ext. H 1.05m) and possible fosse (Wth 12.25; D 0.7m) NW-N-E. The bank is best preserved in the N quadrant and is reduced to scarp (Wth 5.3m; H 1.0m) NE-S-NW and is very gradual S-W-NW. The interior slopes down gently to the SW and contains two ditch barrows (TS066-041003- and TS066-041004-).
