Structure

Two pieces of light brushwood above each other with an ex situ fragment of oak timber adjacent to them (Wth 0.15m; D 0.14m). The wood is in good condition and set in moderately humified Sphagnum peat with some Eriophorum and ericaceous remains. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 2001. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
