Structure

A dispersed deposit of three pieces of mixed brushwood (Wth 1.37m; D 0.19m). The wood is in good condition and set in moderately humified Sphagnum peat with occasional Eriophorum and fibrous roots. Further pieces of brushwood are present in the vicinity. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 2001. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
