What is recorded here

In level pasture, conjoined to enclosure (TS063-196----) to N. Identified during field survey by Alison McQueen and Vera Rahilly (14 August 2010). An irregular area (dims. 52m E-W; 46m N-S) defined by levelled scarp (Wth 1.75m; H 0.15m) E-S-W which is best defined (Wth 1m; H 0.1m) along the linear side (L 50m) to N. The scarp curves irregularly E-S-W as if eroded by water, a river is located c. 8m to the S. A shared fosse (basal Wth 2.5m; overall Wth 5.5m; D 0.1m) runs along the N side.
