What is recorded here

Carrigeen is a ruined church locked inside a 48m circular graveyard in County Laois. Its cross slabs left for Clonaslee church, but the stone wall and a strange quernstone base still mark the buried edge of that older life.

In low lying area, undifferentiated church (LA012-013001-) within an almost circular graveyard (diam. 48m) which is delimited by a stone wall (H 1.3m; Wall T 0.45m). Quernstone base (diam 0.43m) with small central hole in S wall of graveyard. Cross slabs originally from here now at Clonaslee church (LA00 2:012).
