What is recorded here
Situated on a low SE-NW. A remote sensing magnetometer survey (18R0065) in advance of a quarry development identified (Gimson et al. 2018, 4, M5) a circular feature (diam. 6-7.5m) defined by a fosse with a central pit. This will be preserved within a fallow area associated with the ring-ditch (WX027-010----), but archaeological testing (19E0010) of the remaining area produced no related material (Carroll 2019). Archaeological monitoring (20E0204) by M. Carroll (2020) of topsoil removal in an L-shaped area of c. 3.3 ha to the E and S of the ring-ditches produced no related archaeological material of archaeological features.
