Situated near the break of slope on the SE side of a high NE-SW ridge in undulating pasture. Raised circular area (26m E-W; 24m N-S) defined by a scarp (H 0.6-1m) with ephemeral traces of a levelled bank at its upper edge (Wth 2.6m). At the foot of the scarp is a shallow fosse (Wth 2- 3.5m) and an outer bank (Wth 3.6-4m; int. H 1m; ext. H 1-1.2m) which has been quarried away at S.
