Promontory fort is a promontory fort (coastal) in Ballydowane West, County Waterford, Ireland. Casey identified this possible monument in an aerial survey as the middle of three small south-facing triangular headlands that show slight evidence of a straight earthen bank. The coastal setting combines fertile pasture, sheer cliffs about 150 feet high and sheltered coves on either side of the headland.

Identified from an aerial survey by Markus Casey who described this possible monument as the middle of a series of three small S-facing triangular headlands which shows slight evidence of having been enclosed by a straight earthen bank.
