Situated on a slight rise, on ground sloping to the W in undulating pastureland. Indicated as a roughly circular area, with trees growing within it, on the 1st ed. OS 6-inch map and indicated as roughly square-shaped on the 1903 edition. Not visible at ground level. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Tipperary.
