What is recorded here

Three narrow stones still stand on a level terrace in Knockanruddig, County Kerry, perhaps marking a chambered tomb from before written memory. The southern stone rises twice as high as its companions, while a fourth lies hidden at ground level on the eastern edge. People may have gathered there to honour the dead, leave gifts or orient themselves among the hills, yet no name or date survives to confirm that purpose.
