Single-arch humped-back bridge, built c.1800, carrying laneway over River Swilly, having rubble stone voussoirs to segmental arch with rubble stone abutments, walls and parapets with field-stone and rendered copings.
An attractive bridge that is part of the civil engineering legacy of Donegal. The large span and low parapets create an elegant and light composition, a testament to the skilled craftsmen who constructed it. The bridge is still an important element of the local infrastructure.
