Freestanding cast-iron post box, erected c.1930, having moulded neck with lettering in relief, dentilated curved cap and banded plinth. P&T insignia to door.

This post box is an attractive item of street furniture, of a type that is becoming increasingly rare across Ireland due to replacement with plastic versions. There is evidence of fine design and crafting in the cast lettering and insignia.
