Tuocusheen castle belonged to the Barry Oge, but only two broken walls remain beside a working farmhouse. The eastern stone leans outward like a tired guard, while trees strangle the southern rubble, hiding whatever angle the castle once threw against the land. A square ghost sits under garden soil, waiting for someone to stop measuring holes and start listening for the hands that dug them.

Square, level area, just E of farmhouse; partially used as garden; known locally as site of castle. Wall along E side (L c. 15m) has external batter (H 2.8m), inner facing does not survive (int. H c. 1.2m); wall along S side (L c. 16m) has very loose rubble facing externally (H c. 1.25m) and is planted with trees. No visible surface trace of return walls to W or N.
