Single-span limestone railway bridge, built c.1850, spanning former railway line. Now disused. Dressed limestone walls and parapets with rendered copings. Margined rock-faced voussoirs to segmental-headed arch.

This former road bridge once spanned the Great Southern Railway line, a branch of the Great Southern & Western Railway, one of the many railway operations in Ireland in the latter half of the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. Although simple in design and detail, this bridge displays a high level of craftsmanship, particularly in its finely crafted margined voussoirs.
