What is recorded here
Freestanding granite memorial, erected 1894, comprising Greek Doric fluted column capped with Celtic cross, set on square-profile plinth with chamfered corners and inset inscribed plaques.
A crisply exectued monument, erected in memory of Philip Smith of Kevit Castle. It is curiously topped with a Celtic cross, which contrasts with its careful classcial detailing. It is an interesting example of a late nineteenth century monument that incorporates elements of the rising Celtic Revival style.
