Situated on the NW side of a low rise in gently undulating pasture-land with extensive views to NW, N and NNE. Bog visible 550m to NNW. Ringfort (WM006-005---) 140m to NE, ringfort (WM006-006----) 140m to SSE, earthwork (WM005-001----) 200m to SW. A D-shaped (diam. 23m N-S; 25m E-W) area enclosed by a low earthen bank and external fosse visible only from ENE-E-S-SSW where it forms the present field boundary. Possible entrance gap at NW (Wth 1.3m). The enclosing bank has several disturbance gaps, and has been steepened from ENE-E-S-SSW where it forms part of a field boundary. The interior has vague traces of cultivation ridges which run NNW-SSE.
