Single-arch road bridge over River Ilen tributary, built c.1860. Rubble limestone walls with ashlar voussoirs. Rendered wall to north end of west face. Recent repairs.
This road bridge displays skilled local craftsmanship, well executed stone work and a simple yet appealing design. It provides a modern transport link, as well as an insight into nineteenth bridge building in rural Ireland.
