Terraced three-bay four-storey former house, built c. 1870, now in use as funeral home. Pitched slate roof with rendered chimneystacks. Rendered walls with raised render surrounds to openings, having keystones to upper floors. Ground floor altered and full-width timber shopfront inserted.
This former house makes a positive contribution to the streetscape, due to the imposing scale and regular form of the building. The building forms part of an interesting terrace which is located in a notable position in the urban landscape. Though notable features and materials have been replaced, this former house remains an integral part of this group.
