Mullagheep Bronze Age Cist

A slab-built cist. 61m × 0.38m and 0.41m in depth. A cremation was scattered on the floor with a vase foodvessel (Raftery 1944, 95-97). A larger cist is believed to have been found c. 30m to the NE. It contained bones but no pottery (NMI). The above description was derived from the 'Archaeological Survey of County Donegal.
