Lisnagra Woods is the local forest above Muff. Sport Ireland's 6.7-kilometre Grania's Gap Loop passes through the native woodland, following forest paths and a stream before climbing to views over Lough Foyle. Local visitor material describes it as a walk and picnic place and records red squirrels in the woods. Paths can be muddy after rain.
The beautiful woodland above Muff, known locally as Muff Forest and properly as Lisnagra Woods. Its forest paths are used for walks and picnics, and the woods support red and grey squirrels. Grania's Gap Loop passes through the native woodland and climbs to wide views over Lough Foyle.
