Not visible at ground level. Not marked on first two editions of the OS 6-inch map but marked as small circular mound on 1912 edition of the OS 6-inch map. According to Davies (ITA Survey 1942) no surface trace visible, site marked by three old thorns. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Offaly' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research. Date of upload: 23 May 2011
