What is recorded here

Situated in lowlying, level pasture. Not marked on any edition of the OS 6-inch map. Slightly raised circular area (diam. c. 10m) which grades gradually into the surrounding ground. According to the landowner, it was partly levelled during ploughing and a large stone was found in it. A levelled enclosure (SL010-015001-) lies c. 50m NW. Compiled by: Patrick F. Neolithic passage tomb; 4000–2500 BCE. Likely part of a broader network of early ceremonial sites in the region, though its exact significance remains unclear due to lack of recorded excavation or detailed investigation.
