What is recorded here
Situated in level, lowlying pasture. This enclosure comprises a raised subrectangular area (24.5m N-S; 22.2m E-W) enclosed by an earthen bank (Wth. 3.3m at N, 4.7m at S; int. H 0.3-0.6m; ext. H 0.6-0.7m) with a broad external slope. A shallow external fosse (Wth 3-4m) is evident at the W and N. A rectangular platform, built against the inner face of the bank in the NE quadrant of the interior, may be the remains of a house (SL010-020003-). The fosse separates this enclosure from another enclosure (SL010-020002-), now levelled, which lies immediately to N.
