Mound in Ballyronan

Univallate rath KE014-071---- is situated immediately S of KE014-070----. It consists of a circular area enclosed by a high, well-defined earthen bank and external fosse. In the W sector of the interior there is a slight mound (KE014-071001-) 8m x 10m externally. A fieldbank touches this site on the E side, just S of the entrance.
