Situated on high ground in a mountainous area. Roughly square- shaped area (dims. 37m N-S x 35m E-W) enclosed by an earth and stone bank (Wth 2.5m; H 0.6m) and outer fosse (Wth 1.5m; D 0.5m) with entrance gap (Wth 2.5m) at SE. Possible moated site (Stout 1984, 67).
