What is recorded here
In gently undulating pasture. Roughly rectangular area (27.4m NW-SE; 44.3m NE-SW) defined by an earthen bank (int. H 0.8m; ext. H 1.4m) on SW side there is a faint trace of an external fosse (D c. 0.2m; Base Wth c. 1.6m). Stream flows W->E along external base of bank NW->NE. Possible internal 'fosse' (D c. 0.3m; Base Wth 2.6m) along inner side of bank NW->NE- exact nature of enclosing element NW->NE unclear due to overgrowth and incorporation of bank into field boundary along stream. Corners of enclosure rounded, most noticeably to S. Break in bank (Wth c. 3.5m) at E. Interior under pasture; slopes gently to N.
