What is recorded here

In improved, level pasture. Though this monument has been levelled it is still clearly visible as a square area (dims. 16m NNW-SSE; 16m ESE-WNW) defined by scarp (L 16m; Wth 1.2m; H 0.18m;) with rounded corners. Scarp (Wth 3.45m; H 0.6m) is best preserved on E-side and is eroded at NE-corner. Fosse (Wth 4.75m; D 0.2m) at S, W and N. Short channel (L 10m) extends from SE-corner of fosse toward stream at E and may be a drainage feature. Short portion of outer bank (Wth 4.95m; int. H 0.1m; ext. H 0.1m) is traceable at NW. Interior is level and poorly drained. Compiled by: Jean Farrelly Date of upload: 26 August 2011
