In woodland, enclosed by rough pasture to NE and tillage to S. Rectangular area (dims. 30m NE-SW; 28m NW-SE) defined by inner bank (overall Wth 6.8m; Wth at top 1.35m; int. H 0.6m; ext. H 1.5m) which is best preserved to NE (L 26m), SE (L 25m) and SW (L 29m) and lower along NW-side (L 28m). Entrance gap (overall Wth 3m; basal Wth 1.25m) in centre of NE-side. Flat bottomed, intervening fosse (overall Wth 5.1m; basal Wth 2.7m; D 0.65m) is well preserved. Outer bank (overall Wth 8m; Wth at top 5.25m; int. H 0.65m; ext. H 1.5m) along SW-side, which is flanked on exterior by a stream and field boundary (dims. Wth at top 1.8m; Overall Wth 3.65m; int. H 0.7m; ext. H 0.5m) on exterior.
