Remains of freestanding round-plan windmill, built c.1760. Roofless. Rubble limestone walls. Square-headed slit window openings to first floor. Two opposed square-headed door openings to ground floor. Sited on elevated, exposed site.

This mill is of architectural interest in illustrating the design of a mid-eighteenth-century windmill. It demonstrates both the importance of cereal growing in the area, and the lack of water power in this locality. With its exposed site it acts as a local landmark and is one of the few windmills in the county.
