Detached rubble stone multiple-bay four- and five-storey former mill, built c.1820, now in ruins. Comprising gabled three-bay five-storey block with red brick dressings to openings, linked to recessed three-bay five-storey block, which is linked to a double-pile seven-bay four-storey block with ashlar limestone dressings to openings. Red brick chimneystack set in front of recessed block. Former mill house and outbuildings to the site.

This mill is an interesting reminder of the industrial heritage which was once associated with this area. A dominant and notable feature in the surrounding landscape, this mill complex is enhanced by the retention of interesting features and materials, such as the ashlar and red brick dressings and the red brick chimneystack. The former mill house enhances the setting and context of this former mill.
