What is recorded here

Detached multiple-bay two-storey former mill, built c.1800, now disused. Pitched slate roof with roof vent. Rubble limestone walls. Ashlar limestone dressings to window and door openings. Ruined outbuilding to site.
This former mill is an interesting reminder of the industrial activity which was once associated with this area. The mill retains many original features and materials, such as the ashlar dressings and slate roof. The survival of the mill wheel in situ is a notable feature of the building.
