Mill race on the River Boyle, built c.1840, comprising rubble stone wall, partially rendered. Served former Boyle (corn) Mills. Cast-iron foot bridge with concrete surface across race.

This mill race, skilfully executed, attests to the nineteenth-century industrial architectural design. It forms part of a mill complex, which in its heyday was socially important to the town of Boyle, and continues to be used as a mill.
