Cast-iron fountain, erected c.1860, no longer used. Containing floral motif and acorn finial. Mounted in coursed stone parapet wall flanking bridge.
This cast-iron fountain, although no longer used, is an attractive piece of street furniture, mounted at the bridge. The high relief of the floral decoration and finial, and the unusual shape of the fountain make it an important piece of street furniture.
