Sandstone milestone, erected c.1850, inscribed 'Kinlough 4 Sligo 17'.
This milestone is the only such feature on the Old Kinlough to Sligo road. It is reminder that this was once the principal route linking north County Leitrim with Sligo and records a distance of twenty-one miles from Kinlough to Sligo. This milestone is similar in style to others in the area.
This does not grant access. Most recorded buildings are privately owned; view them only from public ground unless the owner allows entry.
