What is recorded here

Fair green, c.1800, on a corner site with random rubble stone boundary wall to perimeter of site having rubble stone vertical coping, granite ashlar monolithic piers, and wrought iron double gates.
An important site in a prominent position representing, historically, the commercial centre of Goresbridge supporting much of the agricultural hinterland. Following the discontinuation of the fair day the grounds continue to serve a civic use as a park, thereby remaining a vital green space in the heart of the town or village.

This does not grant access. Most recorded buildings are privately owned; view them only from public ground unless the owner allows entry.
